Time passes too quickly

Time is something we can never get back.

Lately I feel like it just flies by and I can't keep up. The night comes and I can't believe the morning has passed.

Do you ever feel like you're not really present?

Like you're just going through the motions, and you're missing everything...

That's how I've been feeling the last few weeks. I look at my boys and see two children that will be grown before I can bat an eyelash. My oldest is already twelve, and rapidly turning into a teenager everyday! My youngest is almost as big as my 12 year old, and I know it's only a matter of time before he ducks from my kisses.

How can I make time stand still? I wish I could.

I want to embrace every moment I have with them.

I want to enjoy life more. Worry less. Laugh more.

Do you ever feel like life gets in the way of itself, and you're missing it?

Yes, yes and yes!! I suppose I expected our oldest to grow up, but the little one is pretty tramatizing for me! I was just thinking today that I'd really like to be able to stop and just totally enjoy the moment we're presently in.

I feel like I'm picking up speed and there's no slowing down! I can't figure out if it is just age or if I'm really that busy! LOL I really would like a day where, like when I was little, it lasted FOREVER!

I feel like that a lot of the time. My two are just 7 and 3 but growing up so fast. My little man is only 8 inches shorter than his sister and I cannot believe that he will be 4 this July!
I thought about how fast the years have gone while I watched him ride his bicycle today. I wish I could stop time and enjoy him little for a bit longer.

I don't evem want to think about it. The Boy turns a year soon and I'm wondering what the heck happened to this year!

Yes, I feel like that all the time, and I don't even have little ones yet. It feels like yesterday we were engaged and now we've already been married for 7 months. I want to enjoy every minute of newlywed life because I know it's going to change so much the minute we have kids.

Enjoy your children. I think as long as you're aware that time is moving fast you'll appreciate it that much more.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by the other day! I know exactly what you mean. I was just telling my DH the other day, that I wish I could freeze time for just a bit. Just to savor it a little more. My kids are only 2 and 3, but it seems like time is speeding up.
This is also a nice reminder t focus on the happy moments and not the not so happy ones. To enjoy each and every minute we have with them!

I am so thankful we canceled our cable because it is allowing us to slow down and just live in the moment@

I want time to stand still in the "good" moments, where I'm present and not tired. Or not at work.  Those tantrumy times? Or the busy work time? I'd love to "skip forward" like on my dvr.   Seriously
